Hunting and Fishing Licenses

2012-2013 Hunting Licenses go on sale Monday, August 13, 2012

Doe permits will be available until October, 1, 2012

Remaining doe permits to be issued on first come first serve basis on or around November 1, 2012

Persons over the age of sixteen (16) must have a valid fishing license.

If planning to fish in a State Park, check with the Park for any additional regulations.

If fishing from a boat, always wear a life jacket. The Law requires every person under the age of twelve (12) years old to wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket of the appropriate size and securely fastened. This applies to all boats up to and including 65 feet long, including rowboats and canoes. There must also be a life saving device for each adult on board.

Hunting Licenses Requirements

To obtain a hunting license an old hunting license or a driver's license is required. If you have never purchased a hunting license, a driver's license and proof of hunter training certificates are required. Junior hunter's (twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years old) need to bring in hunter training certificates and have a parent/guardian present.
